“Newtown and Beyond,” a photographic exhibit by Flagpole Photographers Camera Club, is on view at The Newtown Municipal Art Gallery, 3 Primrose Street, through December 28. The gallery is open weekdays from 8 am until 4:30 pm, and evenings when Town board and commission meetings are being held in the building.
An artist’s reception for the show is set for Sunday, November 12, from 2 to 4 pm.
Founded in 1985 in Newtown, the mission of Flagpole Photographers is to enable members to share their photos and expertise, to learn and grow in their photography, and to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow photographers.
Members are from diverse backgrounds. The organization welcomes photographers with skills ranging from beginners to professional level.
