Country singer Morgan Wallen’s hit “Last Night” not only reached the top of Billboard’s Hot 100charts earlier this year, it was Des Moines’ top song of 2023, according to music streamer Spotify.
But the “Wasted On You” singer didn’t take the No. 1 position for Des Moines’ top artists of the year on Spotify.
That title belongs to pop icon Taylor Swift, whose global reach was especially apparent with more than 26.1 billion global streams since Jan. 1, according to Spotify, making her the year’s top global artist.
Here’s who else made Des Moines’ top lists, according to an email from a public relations company representing Spotify.
