This talented group of Midcoast Maine artists include Deb Arter, Stephen Busch, Peggy Farrell, Sarah Fisher, Will Kefauver, Jan Kilburn, Sally Loughridge, Judy Nixon, Paul Sherman, Gary Smith, Barbara Vanderbilt, Robert Vaughan, Candace Vlcek, and Kimberly Traina. The Pemaquid Group of Artists includes over 30 juried Maine artists whose mediums include painting, pastels, ceramics, printmaking, woodworking, and drawing. This year, PGA celebrates 95 continuous years of exhibitions, and its 63rd year in the gallery at Lighthouse Park on the Pemaquid Point. The Pemaquid Art Gallery is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
The award-winning PGA artists are all current residents of Lincoln County, whose work is also represented in collections across the country. The group includes both regionally and nationally known artists. Each year, the group opens to jurying new applicants who represent the best of the Midcoast art scene.
PGA’s mission is to provide a venue for qualified area artists, enrich the cultural environment for area residents and visitors, and foster and support art education through financial donations.
