Views From the New Horizon: Portraits From Sarasota Magazine’s “Listening to Black Voices” Series is currently on display at Art Center Sarasota, and will remain there until Saturday, April 20. The exhibition collects 20 prints of photo portraits taken by Sarasota photographer Michael Kinsey of people interviewed by Sarasota Magazine‘s Heather Dunhill as part of her “Listening to Black Voices” series over the past four years.
As part of the show, Kinsey will discuss his creative process, as well as his successes, challenges and inspirations, during a special artist’s talk that will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4. The event will begin with refreshments and mingling at 5:30 p.m., and Kinsey’s talk will follow at 6.
