Visual artists Pandora Apostoloska Sazdovska and Sasho Sazdovski participated in an art symposium in Tunisia


Visual artist Pandora Apostoloska Sazdovska and academic sculptor Sasho Sazdovski were invited by curators Rim Ajar from Tunisia and Ali Rashid from Iraq to the Art Symposium in Tunis as representatives from Macedonia.

The symposium entitled “Together” presents works composed of monumental sculptures, paintings, graphics and drawings by 38 artists from Tunisia, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Algeria, Kuwait, India, Holland, France, Belgium, Italy, Uruguay, Spain, Russia, USA, Romania, Poland and Macedonia.

The program included a visit to important historical monuments of culture, museums and cities under the protection of UNESCO, such as the blue city of Sidi Bou Said, the archaeological site of Carthage, the Romanian amphitheater in Uthina and El Jem in Thysdrus, which is the largest and best preserved amphitheater from the Roman period and is included in the World Cultural Heritage, and the museum “Le Bardo” (Le Bardo) in the Medina.

The final exhibition of the sixth Art Symposium in Tunisia was held on May 2 in Dayar Al Medina (Carthage Land), and will last from the end of May 2024.
