TEI Leonardo-Ampon, a lawyer turned visual artist, made waves internationally with her sold-out exhibit at the prestigious Art Capital fair, held at the Grand Palais Museum in Paris, France from Feb. 18-22, 2025.
The event was a resounding success, drawing over 50,350 visitors — a remarkable 62 percent increase in attendance compared to previous years.
At the fair, Leonardo-Ampon presented three of her standout works — two from her La Luz De Amor (The Light of Love) series and one from her Happy Flowers on a Piano series. Each piece radiated a distinct energy of joy, hope, and love, resonating deeply with art enthusiasts.
Fondly known as Atty. Tei, she is a founding member and a driving force behind the Filipino Advocates for Visual Arts — an organization dedicated to creating and promoting art that not only heals and inspires but also fosters cultural development and social change.
Leonardo-Ampon’s international debut reinforced her belief that it is never too late to pursue one’s passion. A vocal advocate for women’s empowerment, she champions the idea that women have the power to become who they aspire to be.
Through her journey, she continues to inspire others to follow their dreams and break barriers.
