The David Guillod Creative Arts Scholarship, an initiative founded by acclaimed entertainment executive David Michael Guillod, is now open for 2026 submissions. This distinguished scholarship grants $1,000 to one undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the creative arts, offering meaningful financial support to help propel their artistic journey.

Designed for students passionate about film, theater, music, visual arts, or creative writing, the scholarship seeks to recognize and encourage individuals who are committed to shaping the future of the arts. With a career spanning more than 25 years in Hollywood, David Guillod has held leadership roles at leading talent agencies such as United Talent Agency (UTA) and Handprint Entertainment. His career includes managing the trajectories of renowned artists like Jennifer Lopez, Rachel McAdams, and Will Smith, and producing successful films including Atomic Blonde and Extraction. Guillod’s deep industry insight and experience have fueled his desire to give back by supporting upcoming talent.

Who Can Apply

The scholarship is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students pursuing degrees in any art-related field, such as filmmaking, acting, music composition, studio art, or creative writing. Applicants are required to submit a personal essay, no longer than 1,000 words, responding to the following prompt:

“What inspires your artistic journey, and how do you plan to make a meaningful impact through your work? Discuss your vision, your educational path, and how your experiences influence the stories you aim to tell.”

Submissions must be received by January 15, 2026. Late applications will not be considered. The selected recipient will be announced on February 15, 2026, with all applicants being notified via email.

The $1,000 scholarship award may be used to cover tuition, art supplies, software, or any other academic or creative-related expenses. Beyond financial assistance, this award is a celebration of artistic commitment and the transformative power of creativity.
