Agawam – Donna Roy will be the presenter at the Wednesday, June 12 meeting of the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans beginning at 6 p.m. at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper St.
Donna’s Eco Art originals are a fusion of art and nature, inspired by the beauty of nature while Plein Air painting, she began to re-envision her artistic relationship with nature by exploring botanical sketching and an Eco-print process. Eco printing is the process of making direct contact botanical prints from natural pigments found in plants. These botanical print originals are then enhanced with ink illustrations, watercolor washes and mixed media techniques. They are further used in her handmade journals and books using traditional book binding techniques.
