Art & Frame of Newtown is looking for art centered around the theme of “Growth,” literal or metaphorical.
Artists are invited to submit up to three works of art for an upcoming exhibition at the gallery, 77 Main Street.
Triptychs count as three works. Also, 3-D art will require a pedestal provided by the artist unless it is an intentionally floor-standing sculpture of hip height or taller.
Submission dates are May 27-31, and there is a $20 submission fee.
The show will open May 31, with an opening reception planned for Saturday, June 8, from 4 to 6 pm. “Growth” will remain on view until Wednesday, July 31.
