Joseph Bradley, a nationally award-winning artist, has opened Spoonbill Gallery in The Village of West Greenville.
The gallery at 1292 Pendleton St. is adjacent to Bradley’s personal studio and gallery, Joseph Bradley Studio. It is run by Kristina White, who has experience in set design for film productions, television and theater, such as “Anchorman II.” She also worked as a scenic painter for the TV series “The Vampire Diaries.”
“This gallery is not just a space to view art but an immersive experience that allows people to connect with art on a personal level,” Bradley said. “I love the idea of artists curating artists. These artists were hand-picked by me and Kristina. We hope that Spoonbill Gallery becomes a source of inspiration for the community.”
The gallery will hold a grand opening April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will include live music, refreshments and opportunities to interact with the gallery’s featured artists such as Bess Whittington, Anna Kincaide, Amanda Bennett, Annie Flynn, Michelle Radford, Amy Shekhter and Melissa Schmidt.
