The Clements Noyes Art Gallery, 119 S. Ninth St., will honor previous owner Julia Noyes for her 30 years of support for local artists at a Third Friday event June 21 from 5-8:30 p.m.
In addition, 10 Clements Noyes members will present new work in a variety of media. A livestream of the opening and brief artist talks will broadcast on the gallery’s Facebook page at 7 p.m.
The event will recognize Noyes’ work to build a supportive community of artists in Lincoln. The evening will also feature work by Clements Noyes artist Aurelia Thomas, whose richly painted images explore all life’s elements from people to flora to beach scenes.
Other artists to be featured at the event are Julie Craw (stained glass), Lynette Fast (mixed media and jewelry), Maryellen Fulton (mixed media), Carol Hurd (mixed media journals), Cindy McClellan (wall sculpture), Robert Muckel (photography), Julia Noyes (painting), Ronnie Reid (digital photography) and Angi Stilwell (mixed media).

Guests are also encouraged to check out the gallery’s upcoming workshops, including the Horse Drawing workshop. On Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Janna Harsch will teach participants to draw horses by shapes.
