MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Manitou Springs announced a contest for the new cover art on their 2025 visitor’s guide.
The Manitou Chamber of Commerce said they’re looking for cover art that can showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Manitou Springs.
Manitou Springs distributes 65,000 guides each year.
The contest is open from now to Sept. 20 before 5 p.m. and submissions can be shared here.
The winning artist will receive a stipend of $250 and will be recognized in the 2025 Manitou Springs Visitors Guide. The submissions will be judged by the Visit Manitou Springs Board of Directors and CRANE.
The Manitou Chamber of Commerce highlighted these parameters for artwork submissions:
• Vertical design: trim 5.25” x 8.125” with a .25″ bleed.
• Dead space for the Manitou Springs logo at the top.
• Dead space for text “2025 Colorado Visitor Guide” at the bottom.
• Suitable for scanning and reproduction in print.
• Reflects the spirit and essence of Manitou Springs.
• Submissions should be sent as high-resolution, 300 PPI, and CYMK digital files (JPEG, PDF, or TIFF).
• Should encapsulate Manitou Springs and everything it has to offer.
• Artists must have a connection to Manitou Springs.
• NO single business or attraction should be the center of the art piece.
They said the artwork can be any medium as long as it represents Manitou Springs.
