Alderworks Alaska Writers & Artists Retreat
Long-time Skagway residents Jeff and Dorothy Brady had a vision of sharing the beauty of their property with other writers and artists through residencies at a new Alderworks Alaska retreat. A.I.R. Studio Paducah

The Artist Project
The Artist Project is a collaboration between the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and twelve local after-school community organizations. The Artist and the children create a collaborative work of art inspired by the Museum’s encyclopedic collection. The completed project is exhibited in the Edward H. Linde Gallery in the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art at the MFA.The role of the Lead Artist is to guide the children and steer the work of art into its final exhibited shape.

Awesome Center Grants
The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. Bogliasco Foundation

Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences Residency

Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico Residency
Founded in 1954, the HWF manages one of the oldest artist residency programs in the USA. The Foundation’s mission is to “Support the artist and the creative process” and serves as a haven for visual artists, literary artists and music composers. The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation is located on fifteen acres in the heart of Taos, New Mexico, a multicultural community renowned for its popularity with artists.

Kala Fellowship Award

Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts

Millay Colony for the Arts Core Residency
The historic Core Residency program, offered free-of-charge, includes a creative cohort of 6–7 other residents, private bedrooms and studios, shared living/dining/kitchen/bathrooms, laundry room, workstation, B&W darkroom, and use of the Alumni and Nancy Graves Memorial libraries; in addition, groceries and chef-prepared communal dinners are provided. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Core Residency Program
The Core Residency Program awards residencies to exceptional, highly motivated visual artists and critical writers working to develop a sustainable practice. Residents engage with a wide range of leading artists, critics, curators, and scholars who are invited to meet individually with the residents, lead seminars, and deliver public lectures. Core fellows come together as a community of thinkers and makers to engage in ongoing dialogue driven by contemporary concerns, the interests and work of the fellows, and the Core lecture series and visitors. Residents receive a 24-hour access to a private studio or office, and borrowing privileges at the MFAH Hirsch Library and Rice University Fondren Library.

NXTHVN 2024–2025 Fellowship Applications
Each year NXTHVN welcomes up to seven artists and two curators to participate in its paid 10-month intensive Fellowship Program. Fellows receive studio or office space, a stipend, and subsidized housing. Selected from an international pool of applicants, Fellows relocate to New Haven to participate in NXTHVN’s mentorship-driven curriculum which includes professional development sessions led by visiting artists, curators, scholars, and practitioners. Selected Fellows are also matched with a high school apprentice, for focused one-on-one mutual learning, which gives the next local generation a chance to grow and excel in creative fields. The Fellowship year culminates with an annual group show at a prominent gallery space.

Ou-telier Residency
The Ou Gallery’s Ou-telier program offers one-to-four-week residencies starting on the 1st and 16th of every month year-round to up to 12 emerging and established artists of all mediums including writers, photographers, textile and 2D artists on Gabriola Island in British Columbia, Canada. Each residency includes a private cabin and studio for writers, which can be shared with an artist collaborator or family member if needed. Residents are responsible for their travel and all meals. Submit an online application form and up to 10 pages of poetry, prose, or translation. Writing samples written in English, Spanish, and French are eligible.
