The Creative Art Society is looking for artists for its 35th annual Art Ambience Show and Sale at the Woodhaven Community Center, 23101 Hall Road. The show kicks off with an opening reception and awards program on Friday, April 26.
This juried and non-juried art show features original artwork from Downriver artists with cash prizes or more than $800. (First place, $300; second place, $200. third place, $100; honorable mention awards, $30 each; and Artists’ Choice Award, $100.)
Each artist will be able to submit three fine art entries (160 ” in circumference or less) to be juried and five Non-juried pieces of art (36″ in perimeter or less) with a new section of non-juried artwork three-dimensional art made from found, purchased or handmade items less than 4’ tall.
The application fee is $35 for non-members and $25 for Creative Art Society members. Applications are due by Saturday, April 13. Applications and payment methods can be found at the Creative Art Society website creativeartsociety.org
