LIBERTY, NY AND HURLEYVILLE, NY — From mid-May through September, the Liberty Museum & Arts Center in Liberty and the Sullivan County Museum in Hurleyville, as well as SALT, Citizens for Equal Justice and others, are hosting exhibits on the theme “Voices of Survivors: Inspiring Hope, Sanctuary, Compassion and Community.”
Prose, poetry, art and photography can be submitted.
Creators can contribute “to an immersive experience that resonates with survival, hope and humanity while echoing the resilient voices of survivors from the Holocaust to today,” the project website, hopescompass.org, states.

The due date for submissions to the museum in Liberty is Friday, March 29. July 29 is the due date for submissions for the September exhibit at the Sullivan County Historical Society Museum in Hurleyville.
