The Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery has announced its 4×4 Mini Project, created to support the International Dark Sky Discovery Center.
Currently on display at the gallery is a collection of 4×4 mini canvases, all of which have been created by gallery artists. Some are paintings and scratch boards while others are three-dimensional and constructed from wire, clay and gourds.
The mini canvases sell for $25 each and 100% of the proceeds are dedicated to The International Dark Sky Discovery Center.
The International Dark Sky Discovery Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that spotlights four mission categories: Education, Research, Dark Sky Preservation and Tourism, a press release read.
Opening a window to the observable universe, it is an international centerpiece for all to appreciate the importance of dark skies as they affect the well-being of humans, plants and animals.
To complete the mini art sale and fundraiser, the Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery will host a free reception for the International Dark Sky Discovery Center April 10, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. No reservations are necessary.
The Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery has been serving Fountain Hills residents for over 16 years and is considered a destination for shopping for fine art, jewelry and gifts.
The gallery is located at 16858 Avenue of the Fountains, Suite 103. It is owned and operated by 30 artists who exhibit and sell their work daily.
