Glassworks has hired two lead artists to its London VFX team: Hannah Wilk in 2D and Felix Marrington-Reeve in the 3D department.
They join as the company moves into new office space by the Regent’s Canal in Islington.
Hailing from New York, Hannah Wilk has a background in mechanical engineering, She began her post-production journey in Los Angeles, gaining experience through an animatronics internship before landing a role as Assistant Editor at Nomad Editing Company in New York. Moving into VFX, she became a Flame Artist at Blacksmith.
Wilk led the VFX for Apple’s The Greatest, directed by Kim Gehrig. Recently, she was responsible for the VFX in Adidas’ Hey Jude campaign. At Glassworks, Hannah will bridge the gap between Flame and Nuke.
Felix Marrington-Reeve joins as 3D Lead after seven years as a Technical Director at Framestore London, heading up their TD department.
His portfolio includes Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the 2023 live action The Little Mermaid, as well as co-directing School Birds, a queer-focused, dance-based short recently featured at the GAZE International LGBTQIA Film Festival in Dublin.
