This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Winter Park Alpine ArtAffair, which will be held July 6-7 at the Rendezvous Event Center at Hideaway Park. The Alpine ArtAffair announced the retirement of Cheryl Day, who has served as the event’s director for the past 17 years.
For the 50th anniversary milestone the organizers are also honoring Day’s invaluable contributions to the festival and the community.
Known for her unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence, Day played a pivotal role in establishing the festival as a highlight of the summer season, attracting renowned artists and visitors, alike.
Through her efforts, the event has raised thousands of dollars for local youth art scholarships, supporting the next generation of artists in Grand County.
It will be hard to exceed the great work Cheryl has done over the last 17 years.
