MANSON—The Manson Community Library is showcasing the work of local artist Lisa Raust on its Art Wall, offering residents a glimpse into two decades of emotionally driven artistry.
Raust, who began her artistic journey approximately 20 years ago, describes herself as an “emotional painter.” She emphasizes that her creative process is intrinsically linked to her feelings and is unable to paint subjects with which she does not have a strong emotional connection.
The exhibition features a collection of Raust’s paintings, accompanied by a biography detailing her artistic development and philosophy. Library patrons are encouraged to view the display during regular operating hours.
The Manson Community Library is open Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This showcase is part of the library’s ongoing effort to support and promote local artists, providing a platform for community engagement with the arts.
