SARANAC LAKE — An exhibit of paintings by Georgeanne Gaffney will open on Friday, Dec. 1 at the Adirondack Artists Guild.

Gaffney’s pieces span subject matter, size and materials. Gaffney chose the title “Luminance” for this exhibit to express the romantic and dreamy mood of her works, which range from a large 8ft landscape on gilded panels to mini gilded waterlily and floral pieces the size of a business card, and everything in between.

There will be a reception on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the gallery. The show closes on Dec. 31.

The Adirondack Artists Guild is a cooperative retail art gallery representing a diverse group of artists residing and working in the Tri-Lakes region of the Adirondack Park.

The gallery is located at 52 Main St, Saranac Lake, 518 891-2615. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, visit www.adirondackartistsguild.com.
