SHREVEPORT, La. – Manifest is a Shreveport-Bossier artist collective built on the principles of fellowship and fostering creative growth.
Manifest will be performing at Artspace in Shreveport Tuesday nights from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Each performance will lead with a rotating improv ensemble followed by artist showcases.
Interactive exhibits invite artists to leave their own artistic flair on canvases, while musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and create an improv jam session.
The group’s goal is to uplift artists by giving them the time and space to collaborate together.
Anthony Bendetto and Michael Miller co-founded Manifest when they first hosted their gatherings at a small home in Shreveport’s Highland neighborhood. Now Manifest is working towards finding other venues in the ArkLaTex to invite artists into a safe, creative space.
The last two events will be at Artspace on June 11 and 18. The event is family friendly, and all artists are invited to jam, share, and create.
