PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — As we get closer to summer, there’s good news to share: More artists are being announced for the Waterfront Blues Festival 2024 lineup.
The 37th annual festival, which takes place this year from July 4-7, announced its first round of musicians taking the stages at the festival on March 1, including three-time Grammy winner Ben Harper, neo-soul vocalist Lo Steele, and a collaboration between blues legend Bobby Rush and the five-time Grammy-nominated North Mississippi Allstars.
Now, 24 new acts were announced on Thursday, including Grammy-winning Lucinda Williams, Best New Artist Grammy nominee Margo Price and a Tribute to Janice Scroggins & Linda Hornbuckle, beloved pianist and vocalist to Portland’s blues, gospel and jazz scenes.
