Oklahoma museum featuring artists from across the state

Oklahoma Hall of Fame museum featuring exhibit of artists from around the state

More than 50 artists from across the state have their artwork on display at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

HAPPENED TODAY SUPPORTING OKLAHOMA ARTS AND ARTISTS. THE OKLAHOMA HALL OF FAME, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE OKLAHOMA VISUAL ARTS COALITION, IS HOSTING AN ART EXHIBIT FEATURING ONLY ARTISTS FROM ACROSS THE STATE. THIS EXHIBIT FEATURES MORE THAN 50. THESE ARTISTS RANGE FROM THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ON THE NATIONAL STAGE TO THOSE WHO ARE STILL IN SCHOOL. WE SPOKE WITH ORGANIZERS THIS MORNING ON OUR MORNING SHOW ABOUT WHY THIS WIDE RANGE OF CREATIVE MINDS IS SO IMPORTANT, BUT IT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF WHERE THESE HOMETOWNS OF THESE ARTISTS ARE FROM. SOME OF THEM ARE QUITE PERSONAL STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE WHO MAYBE WERE BORN AND RAISED HERE, OR THEY HAVE MOVED HERE FROM ACROSS TO MAKE THEIR HOME HERE IN OKLAHOMA. AND MAKES IT REALLY SPECIAL TO SEE THE WIDE ARRAY OF TALENTS THAT WE HAVE HERE IN THE STATE. NOW, THAT EXHIBIT IS CLOSED NOW, BUT DON’T WORRY, IT’LL BE HERE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 22ND. YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT AT THE OKLAHOMA HALL OF FAME MUSEUM. TICKETS ARE ONLY $5, AND FOR MORE INFORMATION
