Concept art for ‘missing’ eeveeloutions posted on social media by a fan has delighted the Pokemon community, with many fans excited to see the creative ideas for potential evolutions.
Eevee has always been a fan favorite among Pokemon players. The normal type Pokemon’s ability to evolve into different forms was a major feature of Pokemon Red and Blue, where the normal type could evolve into an elemental type like Jolteon, Flareon, or Vaporeon.
Eevee’s ability to evolve comes from its naturally unstable genetic code. And while new evolutions of eevee have continued to appear throughout different installments of the Pokemon franchise, not every type in the game is represented.

Imagining potential new eeveeloutions can be a fun exercise for Pokemon players. Recently, one artistically inclined fan shared their unique concepts for several new types with the wider community on Reddit.
The designs cover all the eeveloutions the game has yet to see, including a ghost steel and fighting type.
The ‘missing’ type concepts were a huge hit amongst the community, with plenty of fans chiming in to discuss their favorite designs and offer feedback to the artist in the form of alternative evolution names.

“Buncleon looks so cool I wish it was real,” posted one fan of the rock type evolution.
“I love them, they capture the energy of the eeveelutions super well!” Another said
The Pokemon Company / NianticFlareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon were eevee’s first type evolutions.
“Love them. Super adorable,” another poster agreed. Also lamenting it was “too bad” a new evolution for evvee was unlikely, “since there’s so much potential for them.”
While these designs for new evolutions aren’t official, the response from the community shows there’s always still appetite eevee types.
