The spotlight is shining brightly on the group RIIZE as they’ve been chosen as the only K-pop artists to be featured in the ‘Artists to Watch in 2024‘ list presented by Apple Music and Shazam in the United States.
On January 8, global music platform Apple Music and music discovery app Shazam jointly announced their “2024 Artists to Watch” selection, coinciding with the release of RIIZE’s new song, “Love 119“. This track immediately garnered attention by being included in Shazam’s ‘2024 Trend Playlist‘, featuring 50 songs.
The editorial team at Apple Music curated the ‘Shazam: Trend Playlist’ by analyzing Shazam’s data and algorithms, ultimately choosing 50 artists and groups poised to lead the global music industry in the coming year. Notably, RIIZE was one of the five acts selected as ‘Artists to Watch,’ solidifying their status as a rising force in the music scene. They are the sole K-pop representatives among this select group.
Prior to this recognition, RIIZE was the only K-pop boy group included in Grammy.com’s ’25 Artists to Watch in 2024′. News of their new release, “Love 119,” has garnered significant attention from international media outlets such as Rolling Stone. Having firmly established themselves as leaders of the new era of K-pop, RIIZE’s future endeavors are eagerly anticipated.
