LAC DU FLAMBEAU, Wis (WJFW) – Spirit Berry LLC is a store in Lac Du Flambeau that highlights local artists and their art. Spirit Berry was founded by Tricia Mann and her husband who wanted to feature the talented artists and craft makers around the Northwoods. They opened the doors in 2021 and haven’t had the same inventory since.
Mann says that’s because the artists are continually creating new pieces of art. Mann says she enjoys having a central location to showcase the work. Mann said, “It was more important to find a space so we could bring it all together in one area.” Many of the artists are local and have never sold anything before working with Mann.
She works with each artist to establish a fair price. Mann says, “we ask them what their price is, what they feel the time and effort and the work that they’ve put into the project, to their drawing, to their earrings, whatever they’re doing.”
The shop has also inspired some to explore new hobbies and crafts. Their community table invites people to come in and work on their project as others shop. Spirit Berry is located at 591 Peace Pipe Road in Lac Du Flambeau. For more information, visit their facebook page here.
