MUSIC spanning more than four decades performed by some of the very best tribute acts in the business will ensure this year’s Jack Up Summer Party is a memorable one!
As it was last year, the Island’s retro-themed boutique gathering is back at Retro Staycations in Ryde over the weekend of August 10 and 11.
Billed a ‘family-friendly celebration of popular party hits,’ this year’s line-up features a mix of tribute acts from the 80s to the present, alongside performances from original artists.
Prepare to be blown away by the likes of special guest artist, Nathan Moore, of 80s pop band Brother Beyond, as well as a stand-out performance by The Princes of Motown, a fast-paced, contemporary show dedicated to the magical music of Motown.
The stage will also come alive with top tribute acts of Take That, Bryan Adams, Lionel Richie, Steps, Tina Turner, Bruno Mars and Ariana Grande, so something for everyone.
The site will also feature a vintage fairground, complete with classic rides and games, coupled with a range of local traders offering food, crafts, market stalls and more.
Event organiser, Sarah Moss, said: “Our aim has always been to deliver affordable, high-quality entertainment, while supporting Island charities and traders.
“Join us for a weekend of pure joy, fantastic music, and a celebration of the biggest feelgood hits across the decades.”
This year, Jack Up Events is partnering with the Motor Neurone Disease Association Isle of Wight as its charity of the year, to aid their work in the community.
Tickets go on sale at 7am on Friday, February 2. That morning, check out The Price Is Wight, offering weekend early bird tickets.
Southern Vectis will be providing a shuttle bus from the Ryde Transport Interchange.
