The generously-proportioned curved sofas from Moroso are perfect for lounging and having movie marathons. Swivel chairs in a rust tone inject colour into the moody palette. A gorgeous coiled Channapatna light by Ashiesh Shah in shades of yellow and green anchors the double-height dining area. Upholstered blue dining chairs with an iridescent rainbow metal frame perfectly complement a pixel-colour BD Barcelona sideboard.

In contrast to the moody interior, the bar is a bold moment of colour with a bright yellow Smeg refrigerator and a dramatic orange bar counter set against a quirky monochromatic wallpaper.

Moving straight ahead is the library room lined with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, creating a space that the young couple find particularly delightful to spend time in. The careful choice of furniture and art demonstrates a delicate balance between cosy and playful. A desk, rocking chair, couch, and a record player allow this space to transition from a place of work to a relaxed evening with a few friends.

The grey palette continues into the walk-in wardrobe. PU shutters with cane in-fill, matt black lights, and a white pouffe are soft, feminine touches.

Ascending to the upper floor reveals the sanctuary: the primary suite, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, a small pantry, utility area, guest bedroom, and den. Soft lines and calming shades dominate the primary suite through textured walls and sensual furniture, filtering the chaos out and situating the couple comfortably in their restful haven. This is done through a serene palette of colours and textures–moss green tufted bed; dusty rose concrete wall, and matte black wall sconces.
