The European Fine Art Fair, known as TEFAF, returns to Maastricht in June, 2022. Last year’s Fair was a virtual only event, while the 2020 event caused controversy after going ahead, only to have to close early as the coronavirus pandemic spread.
TEFAF is renowned across the globe for producing the world’s foremost fair of art, antiques, and design, covering over 7,000 years of art history. With a commitment to excellence and rigorous vetting standards, the fair brings together over 280 of the world’s leading dealers and galleries from some 22 countries, to showcase the most extraordinary variety of masterpieces across multiple collecting areas including Old Master paintings, antiques, fine & decorative arts, furniture, modern & contemporary art, ceramics, glass, silver, textiles, tapestries, antiquities, jewellery, sculpture, books, manuscripts, arms and armour, Asian art, and oceanic and ethnographic art, to name a selection.
