The artwork will be used as the visual identity of Refugee Week for the City of Sydney and promote our commitment as a Refugee Welcome Zone.
The artwork will:
- promote a welcoming culture, belonging and community for refugees and people seeking asylum
- celebrate the contribution refugees and people seeking asylum make to our communities
- increase awareness about refugees and people seeking asylum and the challenges they face.
This is a paid opportunity for artists with lived experience as a refugee or person seeking asylum. The artwork will be licensed for use in multiple print and digital formats for up to 5 years. Your artwork may be used on street flags, outdoor digital signage, billboards, websites, social media and more.
You can provide an artwork that has been created specifically for this opportunity or provide an existing artwork from your portfolio. You can apply as an individual or as a group of artists.
We can help with interpretation needs if required.
Apply online by Thursday 1 August.
