The Edmonton Arts Council and Edmonton Community Foundation have announced the 2023 Edmonton Artists’ Trust Fund (EATF) awards recipients.
Twenty-five artists have been awarded the Edmonton Artists’ Trust Fund award to celebrate the 25th year of the EATF.
Each artist receives $15,000, for a total of $375,000.
Of the 25 artists, five visual artists have been included on the list: Braxton Garneau, Cheyenne Rain LeGrande ᑭᒥᐘᐣ, Darren W Jordan, Shawn Tse and Tammy Salzl.
The EATF is a joint initiative of the Edmonton Arts Council and the Edmonton Community Foundation. It supports living and working expenses, as a way of encouraging artists to focus on their artistic careers and stay in the community.
