Helping a DK artist and small business owner

I will admit that I have a addiction weakness soft spot for jewelry, especially earrings. You’d think I had eight ears I have so many pairs. These look pretty dainty too, but I keep a pair in my car for those days when I forget to wear earrings. (Which is like going out with no clothes for me.)

I keep them in a cupholder that contains loose change, keys, a water bottle, and often little boys grubby fingers, yet these “dainty” earrings hold up! I have many, many pairs that Aster Kitty made.

So, here’s the fun part; I get to buy more because it’s helping a fellow DK’er, AND there is a holiday coming up that is perfect for giving the gift of jewelry or paintings! I get my shopping fix in and get to do some good in the world.

The jewelry shown below can be found on this page: www.alexalev.com/…

More, and slightly earlier, beaded jewelry can be found here: www.alexalev.com/…

Sweet Pinks Necklace – Rose Quartz and glass beads – 23″ – $45.
Stone Grays Necklace – Black Agate, Network Agate, Dalmation Jasper, Riverstone, and glass beads – 25″ – $45.

I very rarely wear necklaces and when I do, they are long chains with a bit of art on the end, but I have a thing for Dalmatians and these tan sort of spotted round beads are Dalmatian Jasper which has a magical meaning to me.

Sweet Greens Necklace – Aventurine and glass beads – 25″ – $45.
Mixed Blues Bracelet #2 – Sodalite and glass beads – 2.5″ wide and stretchy – $48.

I love these bracelets; they are so easy to slip on and off yet so mesmerizing. I recently bought a white one, all white, that I thought was gorgeous. I thought it was for me, but then I realized that a special friend of mine loves this kind as well and has dark skin so the white will look so much better on her!! It’s a gift now.

Evening Gold Bracelet – Tiger Eye, Crackle Agate, and glass beads – 2.5″ wide and stretchy – $48.
Left to right: 1. Plum Leaf Earrings #1 – glass beads – 1.125″ – $22. /  2. Black Butterfly Earrings – glass and metal beads – 1.5″ – $22. /  3. Rich Red Earrings – glass beads – 1.375″ – $22.
Left to right: 1. Tiger Eye Earrings #1 – Tiger Eye and glass beads – 1″ – $24. 2. Blue and Silver Earrings – glass and metal beads – 2″ – $22. / 3. Orange Carnelian Earrings – Orange Carnelian and glass beads – 1.125″ – $24.

The artist as blurry human. Kitty is crystal clear, of course.
