Noah Matthew Howard will present The Artists’ Toolbox at the Bradford Area Public Library at 6 p.m. today.

Howard, a local artist and owner of Armless Art LLC, will speak about his life story and the challenges he has faced, highlighting the importance of relying on different tools in his mental and emotional toolbox to overcome these challenges. He hopes his words will serve as a reminder that the tools we possess can help us overcome life’s obstacles. Audiences can expect an inspirational and personal talk that explores the tools that all people carry in their lives. The artist invites the audience to reflect on their own toolboxes and how these tools serve them in their daily lives.

“We all carry our own toolbox, and mine has been filled with tools to help me overcome obstacles and navigate life’s twists and turns. From being born without arms to facing personal and academic challenges, I’ve relied on different mental and emotional tools at various points in my life,” Howard posted on his Facebook as a preview of today’s talk.

He will delve into his artistic process, drawing parallels between the tools he uses to create his art and the tools we all possess in our lives. He emphasizes the significance of choosing the right foundation for both art and life, setting boundaries and taking a closer look at the details to make improvements.

Howard continued, “Drawing parallels between my artistic process and my life’s journey, I’ve explored the significance of a strong foundation, the importance of setting boundaries, and the value of paying attention to the details to bring about improvements. Just as I choose the perfect medium for my art, I remind myself and you that we all have unique mediums that reflect the colors of our souls. It’s about experimenting and finding what truly resonates with us in life.”

His talk also touches on the importance of experimenting and trying different mediums

in life to find what truly resonates with us. Another key theme of the talk is time and rest,

and Noah encourages the audience to use their time wisely and prioritize self-care. The idea

of a limited number of weeks in a human life challenges the audience to consider how they are spending their time.

Overall, The Artists’ Toolbox is a powerful journey of self-discovery, self-improvement, and the power of personal agency. Howard’s story and insights leave the audience with a thought-provoking question: What tools are in your toolbox, and how can they serve you better in the canvas of your own life?

Howard will have pieces of his original artwork on display. Additionally, prints and magnets will be available for purchase. To see some of Howard’s work, go to armlessart.com
