Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Art Square Artists host open studios Feb. 4 | Coast To Coast

Artists have created special one-of-kind works with love as the theme

Oscar Wilde said, “Keep love in your heart.” The artists of Art Square studios think the best way to keep love is to share with your best beloveds – a beautiful reminder of precious memories and times yet to come.

As a tribute to Valentine’s Day, each artist has created a special work with love as its theme. Hearts and flowers. Reds and pinks. Soft flirty colors. Simple black and white. Perhaps a painting of a solitary long-stemmed rose or even a divine piece of chocolate. Each painting, photograph or collage will have its own unique interpretation of the emotion. The 12” x 12” canvases will be hung together the afternoon of February 4, creating a unique perspective look at love. Each will be available for sale separately.

As well, studios will be open for guests to have the opportunity to see more work and visit one on one with artists. There will be beautiful photographs, calming abstracts, thought provoking collages, exciting nonrepresentational works, pleasing traditional paintings, bright and happy drawings, black-and-white sketches and more, even paintings spiced with glitter. As well, there will even be collections of heart-filled paintings. There will be much to see and discover – and perhaps purchase – during the afternoon.

Artists at Art Square Studios include Ann Bell, Elizabeth Bell, Tay Butler, Heather Den Uijl, Stephanie Kaldis Fox, Justin Earl Grant, Alan Hurwitz, Cynthia Kagay, Riaz Khan, Melinda Laszczynski, Ruhee Maknojia, Sunny McKinnon, Donna E Perkins, Lucy Wells Riggs, Helene Robinson, Earl Staley and Bob Warren. The exhibiting group includes artists who work in oil, watercolor, collage, acrylic and pastels; plus the group includes several photographers.
