For the first time ever, South Korea’s popular Waterbomb Festival will make its way to Dubai, and the excitement amongst K-Pop, K-Rap, and EDM fans is palpable. Tickets for the one-of-a-kind event at Dubai Festival City are currently on sale as more artists join the lineup and gear up to make their UAE debut. The names in the latest announcement include Jessi, Simon Dominic, Liu, and Sorn, who will be joining CL, Big Naughty, PH-1, 82Major and TripleS.

Jessi, who is in the Orange Team, is loved for her power-packed rap style and vocals, alongside hit songs like ‘Nunu Nana’, ‘Numb’, ‘Zoom’, and ‘Gum’. She is joined by CL, Big Naughty, and 83Major on the team, whose moving and energetic music are sure to get the competitive spirit flowing through the crowd. Hip-hop artist Simon Dominic on the Purple Team will also be one to watch for his dynamic performances of tracks like ‘Comfortable’ and ‘Only You’, alongside renowned names on the team like PH-1, Liu, TripleS, and Sorn.

For the uninitiated, Waterbomb Festival first launched in August 2015, and offers fans a unique experience that combines fun and music. As its name suggests, water is a huge part of the festival, with the lineup and audiences being split into two teams (Orange vs Purple) competing against each other via water guns. The inaugural edition in the UAE is part of the festival’s global expansion, as it gets ready to take to new countries like Singapore, and Hong Kong for the first time. The 11-hour festival aims to be no less than a water spectacle, as sky-high water cannons are set to go off every 30 minutes, alongside pyros and lasers, making it an event to remember.
