The Port Clinton Artists’ Club is thrilled to announce the 66th annual Arts in the Park festival, set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 3 and 4, at Lakeview Park in Port Clinton. The festival will open its doors to art enthusiasts at 10 a.m. both days, and admission is free to the public.

As one of Ohio’s longest-running art festivals, Arts in the Park has built a stellar reputation, thanks to the incredible talents of fine artists and crafters, as well as the dedicated volunteers who ensure its success year after year. The event promises a weekend filled with creativity, community and fun for all ages.

Children are encouraged to unleash their artistic potential at the popular Make & Take tent, where they can create their own masterpieces. Festivalgoers can also look forward to a variety of delicious food options, including Lake Erie Perch provided by the Port Clinton Rotary, and burgers, roasted corn, loaded baked potatoes, beverages, kettle corn and snow cones from eight diverse food vendors.

This year, the club expects several thousand attendees, drawn by the area’s vibrant art scene, renowned perch and walleye fishing, top-notch restaurants and hotels, and iconic landmarks like the Marblehead and Port Clinton lighthouses. Many visitors plan their vacations around Arts in the Park, returning year after year to enjoy the unique atmosphere and high-quality art.

The 2024 art festival will feature over 100 arts and crafts vendors, including 25 new vendors, joining a host of returning exhibitors who are beloved by collectors and art aficionados. Notably, this year marks the 31st anniversary for one of our esteemed jewelers, Carol Kobylanski, who can be found at site 8. Be sure to check out her stunning collection and celebrate this milestone with her.

In addition to the fantastic array of art and crafts, there will be a special fundraiser raffle. Attendees can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a custom pet portrait, four other art pieces and a themed basket.
