QUINCY — The Quincy Artists Guild will feature a new exhibition, running the first week of August at Cheryl Loatsch Studio.
The exhibition will open August 3 and run through August 9. Regular viewing hours at the Cheryl Loatsch Studio, 334 S. 48th St. in Quincy, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The members of the guild have produced a wide variety of art, working with a variety of media such as oils, watercolors, and pastels. Throughout the year, guild artists share new techniques and offer demonstrations with one another.
This year’s exhibition will honor Joan Cook and her dedication to the arts community in general and the Quincy Artists Guild in particular. Up and coming artist Flora Bartz will also have work on display.
The Quincy Artist Guild meets every Monday at 9 a.m. at the Cheryl Loatsch Studio. Anyone interested in exploring their love of painting, sketching, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, or other disciplines is invited to join at any time.
