The Montessori E1 students are just starting a texture project. They are learning about the pop artist Jim Dine. They are creating hearts using a variety of techniques and materials to create texture in their work. I can’t wait to see them finished.

The fifth graders and Montessori E2 students both created Egyptian self-portraits using only natural colors. The fifth graders learned how to draw a profile self-portrait. They also wrote their names using hieroglyphs. They all turned out fantastic.
