The Team Gwen Artists Going to the Voice Season 24 Live Shows

We’re officially halfway through The Voice Playoffs, leaving two Coaches to narrow down their teams to just three artists. We’ve seen Team Niall’s picks, we’ve seen Team Reba’s picks, and with the back half of Monday night’s show, it was finally time for Gwen Stefani to pick her top three for Team Gwen.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

As always with Playoffs, it wasn’t easy. Team Gwen came into the round with five talented vocalists spanning genres, with the addition of a sixth singer courtesy of this season’s Super Save feature, but only half that group could move on to the Lives. So, who did Stefani pick?

Team Gwen: The Three Artists Going to Live Shows

Going into the Playoffs, Team Gwen boasted a lineup that included Blind Audition additions BIAS, Kara Tenae, and Rudi, along with Battle Steal Tanner Massey and Knockouts Steal Stee. That means quite a bit of talent on Stefani’s team came through Steals, and she even used her Save to keep Rudi in the game after the Knockouts. But she wasn’t done yet. For her Super Save, Stefani chose to bring back Lennon Vanderdoes, the Team Niall veteran who defeated Massey in the Battles, only to be eliminated in the Knockouts.

It’s quite a lineup, and all six singers gave it their best in the Playoffs, earning praise from all four Coaches following their performances. In the end, though, only Stefani could make the final call.

“I just want to say that you already won by doing what you’ve done, but I have to choose three people right now, and it’s really hard,” she said before announcing her picks.

For her first Live Show performer, Stefani chose BIAS, a country vocalist whose past Voice performances include songs by Stefani’s husband, country star Blake Shelton.

“I think that BIAS is so authentic and knows who he is,” Stefani said. “He’s an amazing singer. I think he’s country, and country, and country.”

For her second pick, Stefani went with Tenae, another vocalist who’s been with her since the beginning, who’s always been a showstopper.

“I picked Kara because she really knows how to handle the stage, she knows what songs suit her, and she just seems super ready for that moment,” Stefani said.

And to round out her team, Stefani chose Massey, who won her heart in the Battles and came back even stronger after losing that round.

“Tanner has so much range and he has so much power,” Stefani said. “Being able to help him grow as an artist is something that I just thrive off of. I had to put him into the Lives and see what he could do.”

She added, “I think I have one of the strongest Live Show teams. I have country, I have pop, I have soul/R&B. Team Gwen is amazing. America, get ready.”

So, three teams are set, with only Team Legend’s selection to go. Live Shows are right around the corner, so get ready.

The Voice Live Shows kick off Monday, December 4 at 8/7c on NBC, streaming next day on Peacock.
