KINGSTON, N.Y. — A trivia fundraiser supporting the upcoming Kingston Artist Soapbox Derby will take place Sunday, July 7, according to an announcement.
The fundraiser, hosted by hosted by Andre of Trivia Break, will begin at 2 p.m. at Keegan Ales, 20 Saint James St. The announcement said trivia teams will answer questions about art, artists, and the laws of gravity.
Registration for the fundraiser will begin at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $12 per person or $60 for a team of six. A raffle will be held during the fundraiser, and gift certificates will be awarded to winning teams.
The fundraiser benefits the Kingston Artist Soapbox Derby, scheduled to return for its 29th year in August, featuring artists, families, and community organizations showcasing their kinetic sculpture inventions.
