Artists from different European countries will present their works at Oborishte 5 Gallery in Sofia on December 19. The exhibition will be put together in cooperation with the German gallery AK Galerie Berlin, the organizers said here on Wednesday.
German art gallerist Anna Kimmerly and Sofia Gallery Art Director Denitsa Gergova will open the exhibition, which will include paintings and sculptures by successful European artists presented to the Bulgarian public for the first time.
Raul is an Italian artist who lives and works between the USA and Europe. His style is easily recognisable through his iconic brushstrokes and symbols.
Anna van den Hoevel grew up among the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian Alps and the cityscape of Munich. Her distinctive style – a mix of bright colours and different materials – is influenced by the multicultural impressions of her childhood and her travels.
Barbara Pecora deals with the question of what happens if you pour your heart out to someone and it is misunderstood. It is hard to pin her down to a particular style. Her art is a combination of neo-expressionism and urban art.
