WHEELING — The beloved family tradition returns to the Capitol Theatre with “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet!”
The family is invited to come join in the warm glow and nostalgia of one of America’s favorite Christmas celebrations.
The show takes place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
An extraordinary international cast and Ukrainian principal artists perform at the peak of classical European ballet.
Guests will be transported by the magic of jaw-dropping acrobatics, larger-than-life puppets and stunning hand-crafted sets and costumes.

“Nutcracker” wouldn’t be “Nutcracker” without the local children’s cast. Dancing along side the full professional, international cast are local Wheeling children from Oglebay Institute’s School of Dance.
The school provides students of all ages the opportunity to experience the highest quality of education in the tri-state area.
Students learn in a non-competitive environment where the focus is on dance as an art form.
