NEW ORLEANS — M.S. Rau, a New Orleans-based dealer of art, antiques and jewelry, has been invited to participate in the European Fine Art Fair, scheduled to take place March 9-14 in the Netherlands.

M.S. Rau’s third generation owner Bill Rau will lead a team that will be presenting tens of millions of dollars’ worth of historic art at the fair. M.S. Rau is one of 10 new participants invited to attend this year and will join 270 global dealers and gallerists from 22 countries.

Before leaving for Maastricht, the M.S. Rau team will head to south Florida for the Palm Beach Show, one of the largest antiques, art and jewelry shows in the United States.

“Widely regarded as the world’s premier fair for fine art, antiques, and design, TEFAF Maastricht brings together 7,000 years of art from ancient to contemporary,” said a spokesperson for the event in a press release. “This year showcases 270 of the finest dealers and galleries from 22 countries.
