Lee County Fine Arts announces its formation in Sanford | Archives

Lee County Fine Arts recently announced its formation as a new visual arts nonprofit organization in Sanford. LCFA incorporated in December 2023 and begins nonprofit operation as of Feb. 1.

Arts Tourism brings people together to experience the visual arts, from the local community and the broader region. Why do people visit our city? To experience southern charm, small town friendliness, plus engaging visual art events.

Part of our mission is to promote arts tourism and bring people to Sanford. A gallery of fine art is a great way to experience local talent or be introduced to North Carolina-based visual artists who may be new to your collection. Our future gallery will present regular monthly exhibitions, fine art gifts, art competition shows, and access to working artists right here in Central North Carolina.

Lee County Fine Arts is currently seeking space to open a gallery in Sanford.

About LCFALee County Fine Arts was founded in December 2023 to foster a thriving visual arts community in Lee County that educates and benefits the Central North Carolina region. We promote the creative growth of artists, arts tourism, and a showcase of North Carolina-based visual arts.
