Guelph Arts Council is proud to invite you to this year’s Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project Exhibition, Neophyte Club. The opening reception and subsequent show will take place at the artBar (37 Quebec St. Upper Level [above Miijidaa], Guelph, ON) on December 14th from 7-9pm.

Neophyte Club is the culminating efforts of participants in the Guelph Emerging Artists Mentorship Project and features the works of emerging visual and musical artists Kira Alexanian, Jude Akrey, Melissa Brunner, Aidan Carney, Nerine Cavadias, Jess Clausen, Laura Finlan, Anna Golding, Shivani Joshi, Emilie McNamara, Jill Strong and Miki Tamblyn.

The community is invited to meet and celebrate Guelph-Wellington’s emerging creatives at the opening reception.

The Guelph Emerging Artist Mentorship Project supports artists, musicians, and cultural managers in the critical transition to professional life. Emerging-artist participants in each project round are mentored by established regional artists. Guelph Arts Council is grateful to ALL the mentors who have guided many emerging artists since the project began in 2017.

Guelph Arts Council gratefully recognizes the support of RBC Emerging Artists Project, and our project partner the University of Guelph’s School of Fine Art and Music.
