A group art exhibition The Harmony: Mountain and Ocean by Nepali and Korean artists is on display at Gallery Mcube, Chakupat, Lalitpur.

According to a press statement released by Gallery Mcube, the exhibition is a result of a collaborative two-day workshop, which showcases the convergence of creative minds, portraying a shared journey of cultural exchange and artistic expression through visual medium.

It added that titled ‘Harmony: Mountain and Ocean,’ the exhibition suggests a profound metaphor. Mountains and oceans, symbolic realms of contrast, find unity and balance in this artistic endeavour. The strokes and hues applied by the artists mirror the peaks and depths of their imaginative minds, creating a vivid portrayal of diverse perspectives converging into a cohesive narrative.

Beyond being a mere display of artworks, the exhibition becomes a living testament to the transformative power of collaboration. It fosters a collective brainwave, where the creative energies of Nepali and Korean artists harmonise, creating a visual dialogue that transcends cultural boundaries and fosters a deeper appreciation for the beauty born from shared creativity.

The exhibition features Nepali artists Pratima Thakali, Sushila Singh, Suresh Maharjan, Rabindra Shrestha and Manish Lal Shrestha. Likewise, Kim Jaewon, Kang Jangwon, Lee Tangyong and Koh Changsun are the Korean artists whose artworks are on display in the exhibition.

The exhibition continues till February 6 from 11 am to 7 pm.
