A celebration of Texas artistry and craftsmanship returns to Austin Saturday and Sunday. Future Front Texas (FFTX) is bringing back its highly anticipated biannual event, The Front Market. The event transforms Distribution Hall (1500 E. 4th St) into a bustling hub of creativity from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
What is the Front Market? How do I attend?
The Front Market promises a weekend of discovery, showcasing a rotating lineup of over 175 independent makers, artists, designers and craftspeople hailing from across the Lone Star State. This curated marketplace is a fantastic opportunity to directly support the people shaping Texas’ creative landscape (and also shop, of course).
The Front Market is free to attend (donations accepted), with registration available at thefrontmarket.com. The event is also 100% family-friendly and dog-friendly.
What pop-ups and artists can I expect at the Front Market?
Attendees can explore the textile art of Austin’s TAWA THREADS, vintage embroidery from Future Vagabond and handcrafted candles from Houston’s Great Divide Candle Co. For those seeking self-care essentials, Earth Commons will offer their herbal expertise. Beverage enthusiasts can look forward to Kinship Milk Tea. Check out the daily vendor lineup at thefrontmarket.com to see who will be showcasing their creations on each specific day.
