County seeking artists for new Key Biscayne library | Key Biscayne

We know you’re out there!

Professional artists who would like to showcase their works in the soon-to-be-built library on Key Biscayne have a chance to apply for commissions to design unique artwork that will contribute to the identity of the facility and engage visitors, as well.

Through the Miami-Dade County’s Department of Cultural Affairs, $100,000 has been set aside for the commissioning of the public art.

Eligibility is open to professional visual artists or artist-led teams based in south Florida to create works for a sustained period of time.
