LAKEVILLE — The Oak Point Art Association is putting the finishing touches on its mixed media exhibit which will be on display at the Great Ponds Gallery in Lakeville from Thursday, Sept. 5 to Thursday, Oct. 31.
The show features 20 artists who have produced 39 works in oils, watercolor, acrylics, pen and ink, pencil, colored pencil, pastels charcoal, scratchboard, photography and woodworking.
Artists include: Scott Baptista, Ann Cederholm, John Crutchfield, John DeChellis, Judy DeChellis, Sheila DiIulis, Gail Dowd, Sandra Flanagan, Greg Gale, Vicki Giglio, Loretta Haynes, Janet Ilmonen, Donna Maligno, Bunny McLaughlin, Stephen Nourse, Phyllis Vincent, Cheryle Ward, Doug Wauchope, Bob Weikel and Stephen Williams.
The exhibition will kick off with an opening reception on Thursday, Sept. 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The reception will include light refreshments.
The Great Ponds Gallery is located at the Lakeville Library, 4 Precinct St. Normal library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery will not be open to the public before 4:30 p.m. the last two weeks in October and will be closed Saturday, Oct. 19 and 26.
