1 — Rock to an ice show
The 2025 Stars on Ice tour is stopping in Saskatoon, directed and choreographed by Kurt Browning. The power and energy of rock music combines with the artistry of world-class figure skating to create a rock concert on ice, featuring performances by headliner Elvis Stojko, Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, Keegan Messing, Satoka Miyahaea, Jason Brown and Isabeau Levito. 2 — Explore the visual arts
PAVED Arts presents the exhibition In Search of Aztlan… by Martín Rodríguez. The intervention-based work follows the artist in his exploration of the territory around his childhood home along the Arizona/Mexico border. Field and audio recordings of radio signals show how physical and physiological borders shape our identities. The exhibition runs to June 20 at the gallery. The Gallery/Art Placement Inc. presents its spring group show alongside a tribute show to Saskatoon artist Anne McElroy. The spring show features an ever-changing selection of new works and recent arrivals by gallery artists, shifting as works are sold and moved from storage. The tribute show, honouring the life and work of McElroy, was organized by gallery artists and friends Lorenzo Dupuis and Clint Hunker. It recognizes her creative spirit, curiosity and enthusiasm for colour and art experimentation. The shows run Saturday to June 14 at the gallery. 3 — Celebrate a quarter century in song
Eclipse Chorus presents its spring concert, The Quarter Century Playlist. The choral group performs hits by popular artists from the last 25 years, including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Maroon Five, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé. 4 — Experience a piano bar evening
Dueling Pianos features Calgary’s Aussie Rules Piano Bar for an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing. Combining comedy with party songs from the 1960s to the present, including country, rock, hip hop and R&B, the show encourages audience requests. 5 — Support local visual artists
The Prairie River Artists group hosts its annual art show and sale. The art group features 15 artists, with works in watercolour, acrylics, carvings and sculptures.
